2024 Senior Presentation Evening

The 2024 Senior Presentation Evening was nothing short of spectacular! After TWENTY years of hosting the evening, Golden Hill stalwart Shaun Parker decided that this year would be his last and he made sure that his final presentation evening would be remembered.

The evening started with an amusing short film featuring Shaun and some familiar faces from the club and community and many club legends of the past making brief appearances.

As the film drew to a close, the balcony doors opened and we were joined by another group of club legends -- some of whom hadn't been spotted at GHS HQ for over a decade.

It was an absolute treat to catch up with these former players who all helped shape the club into what it is today and I would like to thank them all for joining us, whether in person or by video. A special thanks must go to Shaun and, of course, the very capable William Hopkinson-Parker who helped produce the film and keep the surprise(s) a secret in the lead-up to the presentation evening.

As always, Presentation Evening was a fun-packed affair with many hilarious tidbits from the host and plenty of laughter from those in attendance.

The awards were interspersed with some curious and impressive statistical snacks delivered by the Club Statistician, Jamie Woodworth.

Club President, Gerry Mulholland, was also in attendance to present a number of the awards and our team captains had prepared some exciting reviews of the season -- including one delivered as a poem in rhyme form!
