We are deeply saddened to announce that Don Stone, former club player, captain and life member, passed away earlier today.
Don, a top order batsman, was first team captain from 1962 to 1968, including an appearance in the first-ever final of the Bristol & District Cricket Association's 20 over plate final at the Bristol County Ground in 1964.
Our condolences go out to his family and the many, many friends he made over the years in local cricket and football circles.
